The benefit of the OWA antenna is the ability to go up and down in frequency with very little change to the tune/swr of the antenna. Generally we will tune these antennas for channel 20, giving the operator 40-60 channels on each side. This is particularly handy for operators, for example, that enjoy talking on both channel 6 and channel 28 with very little, if any change to swr.
All antennas come pre assembled and marked. Yes, that means each antenna will be assembled and tuned before shipping to you.
Turn around time is 2-4 weeks after payment. Inclement weather can delay this, due to all antennas being pre marked, tuned, and assembled.
